CVR – VR – First Prototype


URP is the pipeline chosen for this project as it allows for easier and more versatile shader and VFX creations using their builtin graphs.

Assets from this prototype are from multiple assets from the Unity Asset Store. Some of the most major ones are Quibli and Fantasy Toon Trees.

The character controller and underlying VR systems are built upon the Hurricane VR framework in combination with Hexabody VR physics system.

This prototype’s aim is to test whether the assets, including shaders and materials would work correctly in VR and whether the aesthetics would be appropriate for the primary intention of the project. With these in mind, the prototype would only involve the player being able to move around and the hands are correctly positioned and orientated.
