CVR – AR – Polishing
UX has been redesigned to be more easy on the eyes and more user friendly. Shadows are added to the AR object to improve realism. This is also complemented by the inclusion of occlusion using depth camera like LiDAR. However, this only works mostly with the new iPhones.

CVR – AR – Added Voice for Calcifer

CVR – AR – Completed Flow & Animations
For this update, the animations for the door and the demon Calcifer are now completed and in sync. This means the sequence of events and the flow of the experience are in place and is ready for release.

CVR – AR – First Prototype
The first prototype has been completed with object placement, movement, rotation and scaling features done. Check the video below for a demo. The demo was captured in Unity while using AR Foundation Remote and so the quality and resolution are not accurate to reality. The final version will be a lot more polished.

For this update, I have added a short tutorial before the intro. This includes options to calibrate player’s height, sitting/standing mode and turn type (smooth/snap) as well as a short layout of the vr controllers and key binds. CVR – VR – Doors Replacement and Intro
Doors that fit the style of the environment have been added to the placeholders. An intro sequence are also added to the experience. This would then be followed by a really short tutorial as to how the controls and navigations work. These are currently being implemented. The intro sequence could be seen here:

CVR – VR – Scene Transitions and Object Interactions
With this update, key object iteractions are completed. These are interactions that progress the experience (i.e giving the heart to the Howl’s monster). Scene transtitions are also done.
